Arktoberfest Season Has Arrived

Why do I get so excited about the release of ARktoberfest? Where do I begin? First of all, it’s just plain delicious. It’s a mouthful of bread and caramel malt blended with the lightest touch of roastiness. Despite the matiness, it’s light and crisp with a clean finish that leaves your palate fresh and ready for the next sip. It is all these delicious and flavorful things, but ARktoberfest is more than just a beer to us.. It is a timeframe, a transition, and a celebration. It symbolizes the end of summer and the coming of the fall season that we have been so anxiously awaiting. Fall is a time when we begin to settle down after our busy summers and last-minute vacations before school starts. It is a time when the heat breaks and we get out and enjoy the crisp air and changing colors. It is the best time of year to go camping or just sit around a bonfire with friends and family. It’s a time to hunt, fish, harvest, and gather for the winter. It’s a chance to reap what you have sewn. So, the next time you take a sip of ARktoberfest, take a moment to reflect on all the wonderful things that beer symbolizes. Don’t just drink. Sip, Savor, Sojourn.
